Welcome back to our regularly scheduled breakdown on the FF247 Site Team for Gameweek 35!
Our Gameweek 34 Result: A Rollercoaster Experience
Last week, we activated our **Free Hit** chip with results that left us scratching our heads. Scoring **70 points** felt less than stellar compared to our usual peaks. Yet, in the context of Fantasy Football, **it’s all relative**. Before the Forest match, we held a GW rank of approximately **1 million**, which, while not groundbreaking, still garnered us a **fifth consecutive green arrow**, pushing our overall rank up by a respectable **170k**.
Our players from Forest, however, didn’t quite pull their weight, and it’s uncertain how the last-minute goal from Wissa impacted our standing. But with deadlines looming and articles demanding progress, we didn’t dally in our analysis!
In our favor, the **Wolves** team really came through, with even their **benchwarmer** performing better than some of our on-field choices!
Our GW35 Transfer(s): Strategic Moves Ahead
With a cool **£2.7 million** in our bank and one **free transfer** to utilize before GW35, we’re ready to shake things up. Spoiler alert: we **set our sights on Bryan Mbeumo** this week, capitalizing on the chance to face a apparently depleted and disinterested Man United side at home. The main question became: who would we sacrifice for this advantageous swap? Kluivert, Saka, and Sarr were all contenders, but ultimately, **Sarr faced the axe** after a decisive 5-0 vote!
Thus, we have officially SOLD Sarr and BOUGHT Mbeumo!
Captain Selection: Enter Marmoush
In an unexpected twist, our **Captain choice** became **Marmoush**. Following the first round of votes, he was tied with **Salah** and a mystery pick labeled as “Other.” It turned out “Other” was the new signing Bryan, who initially gained traction. However, a late surge in votes catapulted Marmoush ahead, leading the charge with a **3-2 vote**!
