Mocs Challenged in a Tough Field

The Chattanooga Mocs faced stiff competition, ultimately finishing in a tie for 12th place alongside Hawaii. The team’s final round score of 372 contributed to a cumulative total of 1,108, showcasing their resilience and skill. Despite the challenges, the Mocs displayed a commendable effort throughout the tournament.

Leading the charge for the Mocs was Garrett Engle, who claimed the spotlight with a consistent 2-over-par 72 in the final round. They held off a fiesty challenge from Stanford, who finished just 5 strokes behind with a score of 1,049. In a noteworthy individual performance, Filip Jakubcik from Arizona emerged as the tournament’s medalist, dominating the field at 13-under par with a total of 197.
