Quiana Williams: Speed Demon in the 100m Dash
Quiana Williams is set to ignite the track on June 19 at 4:13 p.m. PT (7:13 p.m. ET), where she will compete in the 100m dash. This talented freshman is no stranger to speed; during the last outdoor season, she claimed the title of Big South 100m Champion while shattering the program record with a blistering time of 11.50 seconds at the Bob Davidson meet. With her eyes firmly set on the prize, will Williams add another championship title to her growing resume?
Emily Romano: Reaching New Heights in Pole Vault
At 5:30 p.m. PT (8:30 p.m. ET) on the same day, Emily Romano will take the stage in the women’s pole vault. This freshman sensation made waves earlier this season, achieving a personal best clearance of 4.22m at the Liberty Twilight. Her incredible performance earned her a spot at the NCAA East First Rounds in Jacksonville, where she placed 17th in her first NCAA appearance. Romano’s determination and skill are sure to make her a thrilling athlete to watch.
Camerin Williams: A Soaring Star in the 800m
Rounding out the trio, Camerin Williams will be competing in the men’s 800m event on June 19 at 4:39 p.m. PT (7:39 p.m. ET). His stellar freshman season with the Panthers saw him break multiple program records and qualify for the NCAA East First Rounds. During this competition, he clocked an impressive 1:47.11, propelling him into the quarterfinals. Williams has proven that he is a force to be reckoned with, and fans can expect nothing less than an exhilarating performance.
