The successful candidate will enrich our **Food and Nutrition bachelor’s program**. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a master’s degree in **Nutrition, Food Sciences**, or a related discipline from an accredited institution. While a doctoral degree is preferred, it’s not mandatory.

#### Who Are We Looking For?

**Ideal Candidates** will embody the following qualities:

– A **Registered Dietitian** with practical experience in dietetics.
– Proven track record in **teaching**, demonstrating your ability to engage and motivate students.
– Flexibility and a willingness to adapt in various instructional areas.

With a **4/4 annual teaching load**, you will be at the helm of guiding students in two crucial concentrations: **Dietetics** and **Culinary Nutrition & Food Management**. Potential courses you may teach include:

– Human Nutrition
– Community Nutrition
– Experimental Foods
– Food Preparation & Composition
– Medical Nutrition Therapy

#### Core Responsibilities

Your role encompasses essential duties that contribute to academic excellence:

1. **Teaching (80%)**: Deliver undergraduate courses that inspire future leaders in nutrition and food sciences.
2. **Scholarly Engagement (10%)**: Maintain an active presence in research and community initiatives.
3. **Service (10%)**: Commit to serving the university, local communities, and the broader profession.

#### Minimum Qualifications

– **Education**: An earned **master’s degree** in Nutrition, Food Sciences, or a related field.

#### Preferred Qualifications

– **Registered Dietitian** with hands-on experience in the field.
– Previous **teaching experience**.
– **Doctoral degree** is a plus, but not a requirement.
