CEDAR PARK, Texas – A troubling break-in has left a small business owner grappling to piece her life back together.
A Shocking Incident Strikes Cedar Park
For the past decade, Nathalie Sterling has been the heart behind the mobile spray tan business, La Di Da Glow Studios and Jewelry Lounge. She recently celebrated a milestone, establishing a permanent location for her growing brand in Round Rock.
“What initially drove me was the desire to help others feel better about themselves,” Sterling expressed. “It’s genuinely rewarding for me.”
To enhance her services further, she introduced permanent jewelry into her lineup. Unfortunately, following her recent expansion, what remains of this dream is merely empty shelves.

On a fateful Mother’s Day, she opened her Cedar Park garage to the disheartening reality that $17,000 worth of essential equipment had vanished.
“I was in complete shock,” recounted Sterling. “I kept replaying the moments back in my head. Did I leave it inside? I had a carrying case filled with various chains, connectors, and all the tools necessary to create beautiful pieces.”
Among the stolen items were every piece of jewelry and the mobile spray tan booth that laid the foundation for her success.
“I felt violated and overwhelmed with sadness,” shared Sterling, encapsulating her emotional turmoil.
A Resilient Spirit
Yet even in the face of such adversity, Sterling is determined to keep her doors open, refusing to let this crime extinguish her vibrant spirit.
“I genuinely forgive that person,” Sterling stated. “I harbor no hate in my heart; I just hope they recognize the impact this has had on my life and how it has jeopardized my livelihood. It hasn’t set me back entirely, as I’m already in the process of rebuilding.”
By May 16, the community came together, raising $5,000 through a GoFundMe campaign to support her rebuilding efforts.
