Freshman Sensation Leads the Charge
On Thursday, March 27, four talented Virginia swimmers took to the pool for their individual events, showcasing their skills with pride. Freshman Spencer Nicholas delivered the standout performance of the day, finishing 21st in the fiercely competitive 200 Individual Medley (200 IM) with a personal best time of 1:42.44. This impressive feat not only showcased his talent but also marked an incredible milestone, ranking him third on UVA’s all-time list!
A Rocky Start for the Relay Team
Virginia’s 200-yard freestyle relay team, composed of Aikins, Nicholas, senior Connor Boyle, and sophomore Jack Madoch, faced an unfortunate setback as they were disqualified during the timed finals.
