Imagine indulging in an **enchilada dog**, savoring a **chicken cordon “brew” sandwich with beer butter onions**, or delighting in **birria tacos paired with parmesan truffle fries** at the legendary American Family Field.

Ranking Among the Best in Stadium Cuisine

American Family Field has cemented itself as a top destination for food lovers, **ranking seventh** in USA Today’s list of baseball stadiums with the best food. Tom Hecht, the Brewers’ Vice President of Consumer Experience, shared his excitement about the accolade: “**This is the third year in a row that we have been voted a top 10 destination for food**. We’ve done so much to enhance the culinary landscape here at the ballpark.”

The Culinary Team’s Efforts

On March 31st, the Brewers kicked off their home opener against the Kansas City Royals, and along with it, the culinary team debuted a spectacular array of new food options. One of the standout features is **The Alley**, a food truck park located on the Loge level towards left field.

Working with partners like Delaware North and Milwaukee-based Black Shoe Hospitality, Hecht proudly acknowledged the collaboration’s impact, stating, “Our fans really loved the idea of having local foods brought into the ballpark, and we wanted to find out what could be next.”

Exploring The Alley

The Alley premiered with three fantastic Milwaukee-based food truck vendors showcasing their creativity:

  • Nadi Plates: A delightful Italian food truck known for its **parmesan truffle fries** at $9.00 and savory calzones (both pepperoni and vegan).
  • Hidden Kitchen MKE: Serving up satisfying **steak sandwiches** for $15.99 and **Reuben rolls** at $8.99.
  • Chucho’s Red Tacos: Offering mouth-watering **birria tacos dipped in chili sauce** for $11.49.

Sweet Treats Await

A Passion for Local Flavors

Thamie Nanez, the owner of Chucho’s Red Tacos, expressed her excitement about joining the Brewers. “Being part of a sports stadium has been on my **’vision board’ since 2023**,” she enthused. “**We’re blessed locally that people love birria tacos.**” With an impressive 81 home games this season, she anticipates a surge of enthusiastic diners hungry for adventure.

Nadi Plates: A Culinary Journey

Nadia Santaniello Bucholtz, the owner and head chef of Nadi Plates, shared how the Brewers’ team reached out to her son while at their food truck at Lion’s Tail Brewery. “We are just thrilled to be part of this initiative,” she stated, driven by a desire to offer something unique that can’t be found at the ballpark.

Enhanced Concession Options

The food offerings don’t end with The Alley. Throughout American Family Field, fans will find exciting new menu items at concession stands. Among them:

The Vision Behind the Menu

Brewers executive chef Alex Beronja, in collaboration with chef Joe Muench of Black Shoe Hospitality, actively monitors culinary trends to incorporate popular flavors into this year’s offerings. “**It’s become a social thing at the ballpark, where people want to travel around and find new items**,” he noted.
