The Colorado State women’s golf team showcased exceptional talent and determination at the Mountain West Championship, held at the stunning Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California from April 15-17. With a stellar performance, the Rams clinched fourth place overall, finishing the tournament with a team score of +28. Leading the charge for CSU was the talented Kara Kaneshiro, who captured the spotlight with an impressive fifth-place individual finish.

Kaneshiro not only led the Rams but also put forth an outstanding performance, recording her fifth top-ten finish of the season with a score of +3. Her tournament included a remarkable eight birdies, four of which came in the opening round, where she impressively finished one under par. Following closely was senior Katie Stinchcomb, who finished an impressive 14th overall. Stinchcomb capped her Rams career on a high note, achieving her best finish at the Mountain West Championship. Jacinda Lee had a solid showing, finishing 23rd overall. She made her mark during the first day, firing a +3 in both opening rounds and securing two birdies.
