This visionary group, consisting of 23 prominent CEOs, is on a mission to rejuvenate interest in public schooling by funding marketing strategies for select A-rated schools.

Six schools have been identified as frontrunners based on their impressive performance in English language arts, reading proficiency, and mathematics. These institutions include:

  • Phyllis Ruth Miller Elementary
  • Snapper Creek Elementary
  • Zora Neale Hurston Elementary
  • Marjory Stoneman Douglas Elementary
  • Crestview Elementary
  • Southwood Middle School

Uniqueness in Diversity

Each of these schools boasts unique offerings that differentiate them within the community. For instance, Southwood Middle School showcases a world-class music education program led by the district’s current Teacher of the Year. Dr. Jose Dotres, the superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, emphasizes the uniqueness of each school:

“Sometimes we think that schools are all the same; no, they’re not. Every community is different, every school is different, and each has something special to promote.”

“We’re doing a lot to create awareness of the incredible value and relevance that our public schools have in Miami.”
