Unleash Your Curiosity: The Curiosity Carnival
Kick off the summer festivities on Monday, June 9, from 12 – 2 p.m. at the Peebles Library with our inaugural Curiosity Carnival. This event is tailor-made for all ages and offers a spectacular hands-on experience covering various subjects such as physics, geology, engineering, and art. Whether you’re launching mini catapults, digging into rock samples, or experimenting with color and motion, prepare for a day that promises to enthrall every inquisitive mind! Bring your adventurous spirit and be ready to explore!
Creative Adventures Await
Garden Rock Painting for Kids
Join us on Wednesday, June 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the North Adams Library for a fun-filled garden rock painting session specially designed for kids aged 6 to 11. Each participant will paint a butterfly-inspired rock, collectively forming a captivating art installation. This is a stunning way to blend creativity and nature!
Bad Art for Teens
Later that same day at 3 p.m. at the Manchester Library, teens can unleash their creativity with our Bad Art session. Forget the pressure of perfection and embrace the fun of creating gloriously goofy masterpieces. No rules, no judgments, just pure artistic fun!
Discover Your Artistic Side
On Thursday, June 12, at 1 p.m. at Manchester Library, teens will embark on a colorful journey during Color Mixing / Choose a Book. Participants will select a book and two colors from its cover to experiment with. Create a mini palette that inspires your next read—imagination and literature collide in a vibrant experience!
Meanwhile, over at the Peebles Library, from 1 to 2 p.m., teens aged 12 to 18 can channel their inner fashion designer in our Custom Sneaker Design session. Choose a template and let your creativity soar as you design your dream kicks with bold colors and unique patterns.

Acrylic Painting Workshop
Join Mae from 1 to 3 p.m. at the North Adams Library for a relaxing acrylic painting workshop where you’ll craft a charming country barn scene. No previous experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm! Make sure to RSVP to secure your spot!
Father’s Day Crafting Session
Over at the Manchester Library, from 1 to 3 p.m., come show appreciation for father figures in your life with our Father’s Day Crafting Session. Create heartfelt cards, silly keepsakes, or anything that strikes your fancy. Don’t forget your best dad jokes!
Local Author Meet and Greet
