Are you ready to elevate your fantasy football game? **FastDraft** is the exciting new platform you need to check out! If you haven’t explored it yet, now is the perfect time to dive into the world of fast-paced **best ball leagues**. With FastDraft, it’s never been easier to create a portfolio filled with your favorite fantasy football sleepers and undervalued players.

One of the standout features of **FastDraft** is its brisk drafting process. With only **60 total players** and a **20-second clock**, you’ll get your picks quickly without wasting time. Say goodbye to waivers, trades, and lineup-setting hassles! You can strategically focus on your favorite players by using **Captain Boosters**, which multiply points for specific players—an innovative twist not typically found in other best ball formats.

FastDraft currently offers multiple game modes. Following the NFL Draft, you can participate in **Origins**, their rookie contest, as detailed in our recent article on fantasyalarm.com. However, today, we’re diving deep into their flagship contest, the **Flex Four**, where the stakes are high, and the prizes are substantial!

Recently, I had an insightful conversation with **FastDraft Founder Matt Kelley** on our show. Be sure to check that out for additional insights! In the remainder of this article, we will cover the basics, strategies, and essential tips to kickstart your journey. When you sign up, head over to FantasyAlarm.com/FastDraft and use promo code **ALARM** for a **100% deposit match** up to $50 if it’s your first time playing!

FastDraft Flex Four Basics

The **Flex Four** draft is straightforward and user-friendly. It’s a **10-team snake draft** spanning six rounds. Notably, unlike the **Origins rookie tournament**, there’s no QB slot—only RB, WR, and TE positions. You can even fill all six slots with running backs if you wish! Once the season kicks off, the **best ball algorithm** takes over, slotting your four highest-scoring players into your lineup based on their weekly performance. After the draft, there are no manual lineup adjustments, waivers, or trades to worry about.

Understanding FastDraft Flex Four Scoring

Curious about how scoring works? You can find the full rules for the contest here, but here’s a quick overview of the scoring structure:

  • **0.1 points per 2.5 yards passing** (1 point per 25 passing yards)
  • **0.1 points per 1 yard rushing** (1 point per 10 rushing yards)
  • **0.1 points per 1 yard receiving** (1 point per 10 receiving yards)
  • **4 points per passing touchdown**
  • **6 points per rushing touchdown**
  • **6 points per receiving touchdown**
  • **1 point per reception**
  • **2 points for 2-point conversions**
  • **-1 point for interceptions**
  • **-2 points for fumbles lost**

Exploring Captain Boosters

In addition to a quick drafting experience, Captain Boosters add a unique twist to FastDraft. From your six drafted players, you can assign **Captain Boosters** to four of them. These boosters will multiply the fantasy points scored by those players! Here are the Booster options available:

  • **2.00x total fantasy points**
  • **1.75x total fantasy points**
  • **1.50x total fantasy points**
  • **1.25x total fantasy points**

Flex Four Entries and Prizes

For the **Flex Four contest**, you can enter up to **150 entries** with a nominal **$5 entry fee**. The total prize pool is a staggering **$50,000**, with the top prize soaring to **$10,000**! The top eight teams will snag **$1,000+**, and if you finish in the top **1,770**, you’ll basically get your entry fee returned—roughly the top **15%** of the total **11,770 entries**.

Winning Strategies for FastDraft Origins

Insights from the 2025 Winning Team

Let’s take a look at the **2025 winning team** to gain some insights into successful strategies. This team (congratulations to user **Standardvig**) faced injuries but still emerged victorious. Notably, they included the **1st, 3rd, 5th, and 9th** ranked players for the FLEX position that year. They also featured big names like Alvin Kamara and Christian Watson, who delivered crucial spike weeks. These insights can guide your strategies as you aim for success in the upcoming season!

Positional Awareness: Utilize the Tight End Wisely

As a big fan of the **tight end** position, it’s essential to recognize an unfortunate reality: no tight end has ever been the number one FLEX player in fantasy football. Furthermore, tight ends often don’t finish as top 12 players in years they are drafted as such. This is vital to consider with the **ADP** (Average Draft Position), which often skews towards tight ends due to perceived scarcity. Therefore, while it’s possible for tight ends like Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews to crack the top 10, be cautious about investing early picks in this position.

Unique Builds: Not Always the Key to Success

While we previously emphasized unique builds for other contests, this may not apply in **Flex Four**. With so many available players, your primary goal should be to draft the best possible talent. As demonstrated in past contests, the strongest teams consisted of top-tier players. It’s okay to draft chalk picks or go for emerging stars; what matters is assembling a well-rounded team with high upside potential!

Utilize Multipliers to Your Advantage

Captivatingly, **multipliers** can distinguish your team from the rest, especially if you draft similar teams. For example, if you select superstars like Christian McCaffrey and Nico Collins, assigning different multipliers can create diversity in your strategy. Utilizing these multipliers can elevate your team’s performance and highlight players who may have breakout seasons.

Custom Rankings: Tailor Your Strategy

Getting in on the ground floor of **FastDraft** means you have the power to establish your ranking system. Since drafts can be spontaneous, you have the option to input personalized rankings in the app, which is especially beneficial given the short nature of the drafts. You can even set up **Turbo Mode**, letting your pre-made rankings guide you while you sit back and relax during the draft!
