ESSEX, Vt. – Under the radiant sun, the community came together to honor the memory of a vibrant little girl named Addi Carroll, whose spirit continues to inspire. This year, the Annual Big Beautiful Life Run drew in over 300 participants, all united for a noble cause.

Addi, a spirited 12-year-old, sadly lost her battle with a rare blood disease in 2022. To pay tribute to her courage and legacy, the community organized this event to raise funds for the non-profit organization, Big Beautiful Life, ensuring that assistance is extended to children facing medical crises.

“We’re really trying to encourage the community to come out. This should feel like a community event. You don’t have to be a runner, walker, or roller—just come out and have fun! I truly feel close to Addi. It’s as if she sends us the sunshine and joy we experience today.”
