Eleven Wolverines Earn Prestigious CRCA Scholar-Athlete Recognition
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Michigan rowing program has once again proven that excellence knows no bounds. After an impressive top-12 national finish at the NCAA Championships in 2025, eleven remarkable student-athletes have received the prestigious Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar-Athlete award. This recognition not only highlights their athletic prowess but also their academic dedication.
A Distinction Worth Celebrating
The CRCA Scholar-Athlete award is not handed out lightly. To qualify, a student must:
- Be in their second, third, or fourth year of eligibility.
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Compete in an NCAA/IRA championship boat (1V4, 2V8, 1V8) for at least 75% of the spring season, or be part of an NCAA/IRA Championship boat during the conference championship weekend.
