"Our most popular flower has been the geranium; we’ve seen them fly off the shelves today!" shared Missy Christiansen from DC Farms & Greenhouse. This Columbus Township flower shop was just one of the many vendors that made Flower Day a success.

The market was a feast for the eyes, with stalls overflowing with bright, colorful flowers in every hue imaginable. Each corner of the market revealed something new, from unique floral arrangements to handcrafted goods that made perfect gifts for loved ones.

The culinary offerings were a highlight in themselves! Attendees enjoyed french fries, corn dogs, and an array of sweet treats while soaking in the festive atmosphere. With pleasant temperatures hovering around 65 degrees, it was the ideal day for families to gather and enjoy.

Beyond the blooming beauty, local artisans displayed their crafts, adding an extra layer of charm to the shopping experience. From handcrafted jewelry to stylish clothing items, the vendors offered a taste of local creativity.
"It’s a blast being here," remarked Christiansen. "We have around 13 stalls, so we’re spread throughout the market, bringing all our favorites together!"

For those who missed the excitement of Flower Day, fear not! Eastern Market continues to celebrate with two remaining Flower Tuesdays this month, scheduled for May 20 and 27. These Tuesdays promise a delightful continuation of the floral festivities.
