Who Can File a Claim?
Have you filed a claim after **February 14, 2025**? If so, sit tight—the FTC is still reviewing those submissions. For those who haven’t yet filed, **Fortnite** players who were charged for “unwanted purchases” might be eligible for a refund.
If you fit one of these criteria, you could qualify:
- A player charged in-game currency for items they didn’t desire between **January 2017** and **September 2022**.
- A parent whose child made unauthorized charges in **Fortnite** using their credit card between **January 2017** and **November 2018**.
- A player who lost access to their account after disputing charges with their credit card company within the same time frame.
**Important**: While players of all ages can request a refund, those under **18** will need a parent or guardian to complete the claim form. Currently, this refund opportunity is only available to **U.S. players**.
