Join Us for a Heartfelt Community Meal and Food Distribution at First Christian Church
Get ready for a delightful evening of warmth and support this coming Friday! On June 13, from 5 to 6 p.m., the First Christian Church of Bowling Green invites you to their monthly drive-thru Community Meal and Food Distribution at 875 Haskins Road. This event is more than just a meal; it’s a beacon of hope for those facing food insecurity in our community.
What to Expect
Discover a treasure trove of deliciousness and essential supplies! Attendees will not only enjoy a complimentary meal, but also have the opportunity to pick up a limited selection of groceries, toiletries, breads, and pastries, all at no cost.
How It Works
To take part in this heartwarming event, simply arrive at the church parking lot between 5 and 6 p.m. Stay comfy in your car while our devoted volunteers take your order, deliver meals right to you, and guide you to the grocery and toiletry distribution stations.
Community Partnerships
This event is made possible through the collaboration of several generous local organizations:
- St. Thomas More University Parish of Bowling Green and BG Christian Food Pantry will be providing essential groceries.
- Thanks to the First Presbyterian Church and First Christian Church, a variety of toiletries will also be available.
- Delight in an assortment of breads and pastries graciously donated by the Bowling Green Christian Food Pantry.
Additionally, volunteers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bowling Green will be on hand to assist with meal preparations and the distribution of food bags.
A Legacy of Love
Since November 2020, the community meal has been an integral part of FCC’s food ministry, aiming to combat food insecurity and bring neighbors together in a spirit of kindness.
