Priscilla’s life reads like a Hollywood screenplay. Born in America, her upbringing was marked by movement across countries due to her stepfather’s air-force career. In a twist of fate, Priscilla met **Elvis Presley** when she was just 14, during his service in Germany in 1959. Their romance blossomed over 18 months, leading her to America a few years later, where their love story continued amidst Elvis’s Hollywood adventures with leading ladies like Anne Margret and Ursula Andress.
They tied the knot in 1967 — and let’s not forget that iconic high hairstyle that we all envied! However, the fairy tale came to an end with their divorce in 1973. **Lisa Marie**, their daughter, was born in 1968, creating a legacy that intertwined with notable figures, including Michael Jackson. Tragically, Lisa Marie passed away in 2023 at the age of 54.

Undeterred, she rewrote the entire book, which soared to success, leading her to pen many more stories revolving around the glamorous lives of British upper-class families, filled with excitement, scandal, and charm.
Now at **88**, Jilly remains a beacon of joy, marveling at the success of her recent TV adaptation.
