Celebrating **40 years** of impactful service, CFH operates health centers and shelters that provide comprehensive services, including medical, dental, mental health, and substance use care. Job Summary
As a **Director of Marketing and Communications**, you will be an integral part of the management team, reporting directly to the Chief Development & Communications Officer. Your mission? To elevate brand awareness and foster a deeper engagement with our community through dynamic storytelling and strategic visibility. You will spearhead comprehensive strategies to amplify CFH’s mission, all while supporting our annual and long-term goals. This pivotal role is designed to enhance CFH’s brand visibility and effectively promote our programs across diverse channels, attracting a broad spectrum of stakeholders to join us in this vital work.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing Development: Lead the creation and management of a **cutting-edge marketing and communications strategy** aimed at boosting visibility and stakeholder engagement.
- Content Management: Oversee the strategic management of all digital, print, and social media platforms to ensure alignment with the overarching brand strategy and consistent growth.
- High-Impact Event Coordination: Collaborate with the Development Department to curate impactful events that position CFH as a **thought leader** in the service space.
- Brand Management: Regularly evaluate brand assets for consistency and relevance, leading brand refresh initiatives as necessary.
- Media Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with media representatives to maximize coverage and boost CFH’s public profile.
- Partnership Development: Identify and engage influencers and thought leaders as brand ambassadors to enhance our visibility and fundraising efforts.
- Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative culture within the Marketing and Communications team, driving innovation and professional growth.
- Passion for Mission: Must possess a deep commitment to the mission of Care For the Homeless.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven Experience: A minimum of **eight years** of relevant marketing experience.
- Strong Writing Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Project Management: Exceptional time management with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to formulate and execute comprehensive marketing strategies.

Salary Range
$120,000 to $130,000
Job Requirements
Candidates must be based in the **New York City area** as this full-time role necessitates travel to our shelters and healthcare sites throughout all five boroughs. The position requires in-person presence at our Midtown Manhattan headquarters five days a week.
