In an exciting announcement this week, the NFL revealed that the Packers have been granted marketing rights in three vibrant markets: Germany, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.

The Packers’ Global Vision

In a statement that exudes enthusiasm, Packers COO and General Counsel Ed Policy expressed, “The Packers are pleased to officially establish a presence in Germany, Ireland, and the UK to engage with current and future Packers fans in those markets.” He added, “The opportunity to further develop our worldwide reach, amplified by our international games over the past few seasons, is thrilling for our organization. We are eager to invest in our international growth and forge enduring connections with fans, businesses, and organizations across these countries.”

As part of the NFL’s Global Markets Program, 29 clubs have already harnessed the benefits of international marketing. The Packers are proud to join this elite group, ranking among 11 teams with a foothold in Germany, five in Ireland, and nine within the UK. This strategic selection was not a matter of chance; the organization thoughtfully chose these nations based on their existing fan base, cultural compatibility, and abundant opportunities for expansion.

Later this year, the Packers are set to roll out tailored international marketing initiatives aimed at deepening connections with European fans.
