Your Go-To Guide for a Fantasy Football Mock Draft
For this mock draft, we’re rolling with the following lineup settings: 1 quarterback, 2 running backs, 3 wide receivers, 1 tight end, 2 flex positions, and six bench spots. Check out the full draft board and results here.
First Round Pick (1.09): Nico Collins (WR – HOU)
With Tank Dell sidelined for a significant portion of 2025 and the strongest competition only coming from Christian Kirk, expect Nico Collins to reign supreme among fantasy players this season. In a previous season, he showcased an incredible 3.10 yards per route run (YPRR) before being sidelined for five games. Even while slightly less efficient, with 2.87 YPRR and a staggering 28.3% target share per route, he has solidified himself as a first-round must-have at wide receiver.
Second Round Pick (2.04): Brock Bowers (TE – LV)
Brock Bowers is undeniably making waves! At just 18, he led the Georgia Bulldogs in every notable receiving category. His rookie year was nothing short of historic, breaking records for most receptions and receiving yards by a rookie tight end. If you’re searching for a tight end, Bowers could be your steal, easily slipping to the second round, yet possessing first-round talent.

Third Round Pick (3.09): Terry McLaurin (WR – WAS)
Fourth Round Pick (4.04): Davante Adams (WR – LAR)
We’re adding two elite wideouts with massive potential. Terry McLaurin is paired with promising quarterback Jayden Daniels and is primed for another explosive season after achieving 1,096 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns last year. Meanwhile, Davante Adams has joined the Rams, a move that positions him for greatness under the mastermind of Sean McVay. Despite entering his age-33 season, Adams is still a reliable force, maintaining excellent metrics and a substantial target share.
Fifth Round Pick (5.09): David Montgomery (RB – DET)
Sixth Round Pick (6.04): Aaron Jones (RB – MIN)
In the fifth and sixth rounds, we snag two running backs tied to potent offenses. David Montgomery and Aaron Jones are positioned for major scoring opportunities that are sure to amplify their fantasy value. Their past success at the running back position means they can deliver high upside during pivotal matchups.

Seventh Round Pick (7.09): Calvin Ridley (WR – TEN)
Eighth Round Pick (8.04): Jauan Jennings (WR – SF)
We need depth in our wide receiver corps, and both Calvin Ridley and Jauan Jennings can provide just that. Ridley, being the top target in his offense, is expected to see high volume despite potential inconsistencies. Jennings had a breakout 2024 season and is poised to maintain that trajectory with an evolving 49ers passing game.
Ninth Round Pick (9.09): Tyjae Spears (RB – TEN)
Tenth Round Pick (10.04): Austin Ekeler (RB – WAS)
Eleventh Round Pick (11.09): Bo Nix (QB – DEN)
Twelfth Round Pick (12.04): Marvin Mims Jr. (WR – DEN)
In these later rounds, we focused on solidifying depth. Bo Nix, who exceeded expectations last season, is poised to become a reliable QB option. Along with Nix, we brought in Marvin Mims Jr., who showed promise late last season and could contribute significantly with more routes run.
Thirteenth Round Pick (13.09): Devin Neal (RB – Kansas)
Fourteenth Round Pick (14.04): Wan’Dale Robinson (WR – NYG)
Fifteenth Round Pick (15.09): Damien Martinez (RB – Miami)
Completing our roster with upside, we opted for two rookies and a wide receiver under the radar. Wan’Dale Robinson’s impressive target count last season gives him that potential to return value in the 14th round, even if he drops in overall statistics.
Everyone’s buzzing about Malik Nabers, but don’t forget about Wan’Dale Robinson.

Evaluating Our FantasyPros Draft Wizard Experience
The FantasyPros Draft Wizard rated our effort as a B-, awarding us a score of 80/100. With a roster heavy on elite wide receivers, a strong tight end, and potential-filled running backs, we’re set for a competitive season. Austin Ekeler and Tyjae Spears provide essential depth, while our last few picks of Marvin Mims and Wan’Dale Robinson are essential to a winning strategy.
While I typically steer clear of drafting backups at quarterback and tight end—the depth available during bye weeks can be very accommodating—this team would be an absolute contender in a 12-team league if the draft were held in late August.
