COLORADO SPRINGS, Fla. – In a remarkable display of athletic prowess and academic excellence, seven talented women golfers from East Carolina University have earned the prestigious title of 2024-25 Division I All-American Scholars, as announced by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). This milestone marks an incredible achievement, being the program’s best with seven selections, and highlights the unwavering commitment of these athletes both on the course and in the classroom.
A Tradition of Excellence
This year’s accolade continues a 21-year legacy of academic achievement within the program, as at least two Pirates have been recognized as All-America Scholars for two decades running (2005-present). Notable among the honorees, Danielle Modder has claimed this honor for the third consecutive year, while Macie Burcham, Nicole Nash, and Ella Stalvey have shined as two-time selections. Rigorous Standards for Selection

- Achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
- Maintain amateur status and be on the team roster through the season’s close.
- Participate in at least 50% of the team’s competitive rounds during the year leading up to the conference championship.
