Kicking off the day in thrilling fashion, the Horned Frogs shattered expectations in the 4x100m relay, posting an impressive time of 43.69 seconds—the fastest of the day. The sensational relay team, featuring Indya Mayberry, Iyana Gray, London Tucker, and Teanna Harlin, not only surpassed their previous mark but also secured their stake as one of the top five performances in TCU history and the second-best time nationwide this season.
Hurdles and Highs: Amari Kiluvila’s Stellar Performance
As the excitement escalated, the spotlight turned to the 100m hurdles where Amari Kiluvila earned her spot in the finals with a commendable time of 13.37 seconds during the preliminaries. Irene Jepkemboi (51.90m), Maria Bienvenu (50.60m), and Sydney Juszczyk (49.61m) all finished within the top five, claiming third, fourth, and fifth places, respectively.
