Under the Startup Brand Identity Launch programme, ABIRF, located at the Anna University Trichy campus, is not just providing branding suggestions but is also designing logos and brand names at a concessional rate. This unique opportunity empowers young entrepreneurs, primarily aged under 32, to carve out their niche in various sectors including property technology, food, automobile, and robotics.

Igniting Creativity and Cost-Effectiveness

Vinoth Malaikani, the CEO in-charge of ABIRF, emphasizes the importance of a well-designed logo, stating, “Proper logo and brand names will enhance the startup’s visibility, build brand equity, and accelerate market presence for early-stage ventures.” He added, "It can be quite expensive to develop branding externally, so we utilized the expertise of one of our home-grown design startups to assist others."

The launch of the newly designed logos took place at the ABIRF office, officiated by J Innocent Divya, the Commissioner of the Directorate of Technical Education. This marked a pivotal moment for the startups involved, as they now have distinct identities that resonate with their core missions.

Vinothkumar Palanivel, founder and CEO of LandMarket, a property tech startup, reflected on the transformation: “So far, our startup did not have a proper logo, and consumers were not understanding our domain. The new logo and brand name designed with the support of the incubation centre was cost-effective, and customers now understand our operational areas.” This is just one of the many success stories emerging from this initiative, underscoring the significance of branding in today’s competitive landscape.
