MADISON, WISCONSIN – Mark your calendars! On Saturday, September 27th, Warner Park Duck Pond will transform into a vibrant hub of culinary delights and captivating tunes as the **True North Music + Food Festival** graces Madison’s Northside.

### Celebrating 25 Years of Community
This year marks a significant milestone as the Madison Mallards celebrate their **25th anniversary** on the Northside. According to Mallards President Vern Stenman, “Given all the new activity on this side of town, it seemed like the perfect time to give this area something new to cheer about.”

With food curated by **Evan Dannells**, co-owner of Lola’s, and music programmed by his partner **Matt Gerding**, the event promises a curated experience that showcases the ***rich tapestry of Madison’s food and music scene***. Gerding warmly stated, “Since opening Lola’s, we’ve fallen in love with the Northside and see so much great food and music happening all over the city.”
### An Annual Tradition in the Making
“There’s no better place than a baseball field to capture the timeless and authentic intersection of homegrown music, food, and community,” Gerding commented. “Our hope is to turn this into an **annual tradition**, and we’re thrilled with how it’s all coming together in year one.”

### Community Focus
The **Mad City Windows & Baths True North Festival** is proudly presented by **Greenwoods State Bank** and **American Family Insurance**, along with generous support from **Dancing Goat Distillery**, **RA! THC Beverage**, **Dane County Regional Airport**, and **Untitled Art**.
In a spirit of community, **True North** will donate **$2 for every ticket sold** to the Dane County Food Collective and DAIS.
