The Final Chapter at Star Tribune
In recent years, Gilyard took on the role of reporter for the Minnesota Star Tribune, where he continued to make waves until 2024. Tragically, Gilyard passed away on May 15, succumbing to complications from a progressive neuromuscular disease known as adrenomyeloneuropathy, at the age of 58.
