The University of Michigan women's golf team faced down Mother Nature and delivered an impressive performance at the Chattanooga Classic, held at the prestigious Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tennessee. Over the course of the two-day tournament, the Maize and Blue rallied to finish eighth out of 16 teams, posting a total score of 915.
Mara Janess: The Rising Star
Leading the charge was redshirt sophomore Mara Janess, who dazzled onlookers with a career-low round of 69 (-3) in the final showdown. This remarkable performance not only marked her first time breaking the dreaded 70-stroke barrier but also secured her a coveted spot in the top ten.
