UNC Rowing Set to Make Waves at Sarasota 2K Regatta
Chapel Hill, N.C. – With a rich history of excellence, the University of North Carolina’s 19th-ranked rowing program is gearing up to make its mark at the upcoming Sarasota 2K Regatta on March 28-29. Set against the scenic backdrop of Benderson Park in Florida, this event promises thrilling competition as teams clash in pursuit of the prestigious Benderson Cup.
Exciting Racing Schedule
The action kicks off on Friday, March 28, with time trials starting at 2 p.m. Following a day of heated competition, the finals will take place on Saturday, March 29, beginning at 9:30 a.m. It’s an opportunity for the Tar Heels to improve upon last year’s fourth-place finish, where they amassed a commendable 105 points.
